    Dilemma

I am a newly registered pharmacist who just got an interview with a supermarket pharmacy as a pharmacy manager. I applied to the job but did not think I would get the interview because I have no management experience. I don't know what to do now, any advice would be helpful.

    Turning the question round...
How does a newly registered pharmacist get management experience?
You must have seen something in your pre-reg year to act as a baseline set of values and ideas?
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................

    Re: Dilemma

They called you for interview because they saw something in your CV to make it worth their while, maybe just potential or a hint of willingness to learn.
Any body with a degree and a professional qualification has management experience - you managed yourself and your workload to get this far. If you want the job find out everything you can about the company and give it your best shot. Even if you don't get it the interview will be good experience.

    That's the end result.
How you get there is the art of management.
Follow the best example you can find.
