Hi everyone...dear colleagues...hope everyone is fine
Just wondering if anyone is thinking about doing a masters degree? or has anyone actually done a masters degree after pharmacy?
At the moment i'm thinking about possibly doing a masters next year or the year after...because I think not only it will help me towards career progression but also it will help me to compensate for my 2:2 grade which i achieved in pharmacy, if i want to study something else later...as a lot of unversities are now asking for first grade or a 2:1 grade...
I've been talking to friends recently and everyone has different opinions about the choice of masters degree...some say MBA, while others are more keen on doing a masters in clinical pharmacy, or health economics etc...
I personally think it would be better to do something that will help me in the hospital or industry sector, should I go to those fields in the future..
or even community as i think it will help to reach higher posotions within companies like boots or lloyds...
Also I'm concerned about the fees for doing a masters ...
So lets share our knowledge and experience as I think this topic will be useful not just for me but everyone...
what do you think about the...1) choice of degree?!
2) choice of university?!
3) Funding? have you heard of any universities that are more keen to offer scholarships?!
