Surgical spirit was drunk by Scots winos. Sales were restricted at certain times.
Any possible drug of addiction.................Codeine Linctus, Kaolin and Morph, Nurofen Plus etc.
Also solvents such as acetone, carbon tetrachloride etc to combat glue sniffers. You must have led a sheltered life.

Methylated Spirits also (the blue variety).
I think a 2L bottle of "white lightning" is now cheaper.
Did there used to be a restriction on selling it after a certain time on friday until monday?
Or is my memory playing a trick on me.

Try nytol sleeping tablets.... in our pharmacy we have to keep them behind the counter, out of sight as we have regular customers who abuse them. We are careful and selective who we sell them to.

Not sure if I don't understand the question, but whether a product is stored in sight or not, and when you sell it, are not part of any manufacturers' or suppliers' instructions? (To whom you sell it may be covered by the product licence....)
