    co op pre reg assesment day/ interview

    Hi there, new to the forum! ive been invited to attend an assesment day for a pre reg poisition at co op on the 13th of June, basically the assesment day conists of delivering a presentation based on either one of these two topics.

    ''What do you believe are the key drivers which determine a customers’ choice of
    pharmacy?

    or

    What impact will you have in ensuring customers choose to come and then return to
    The Co-operative Pharmacy?''

    which of the options would you pick and also what would you include in the content of your presentation? just need some help to steer me towards the right direction!

    Also it is a competency based interview, has anyone had an interview as such with co op previously?

    Help much appreciated

    shows what the multiples are actually looking for in a pharmacist.............sucking up to customers.

    Never reveal any personal details on an open forum. You lay yourself open to scams. Always communicate via the PM facility.
    Customers will expect that pharmacists can deal with any questions re their meds and basic clinical. Eg 'Nerves', eye slightly protruding..... possible thyroid problem,
    scaly patches on elbows....psoriasis, keep going to loo, boils or recurrent thrush, always thirsty.......possible diabetes.
    There are books on common symptoms in the pharmacy. Otherwise, all being equal 'service,service, service'. When you answer the 'phone 'Good Morning/Afternoon, this is ............ and the pharmacist speaking, How can I try to help you?'. Will often disarm a potentially combative situation. All basic business really.
    Install in your staff the vital initial greeting to a customer.

    Well in essence that all Community really boils down to, customer service. Don't think that's emphasised enough to Pharmacy students, because in effect you're no different from a worker in TK Max or Mcdonalds for that matter. They perpetuate a lot of crap to students at undergraduate level on the hole.

    A lot of people are telling me it about service and in some aspect i think your right with the analogy from what i can make out. jondep he also said the same to me he said it all about service , ps many thanks to him and your self. some of the other user have actually had the interveiw and i realy wanted to get in touch wid them, unfortunalty there not replying.

    once i have the interview ill put a few point online
