I've just emerged from hospital and entered community pharmacy with people telling me different information about what children under 6 can take for coughs. As a result I've only given out simple linctus, paracetamol and "honey, glycerol and lemon" to avoid "being sued"
Is there an up-to-date bulletin containing information on this?
I've had customers arguing they want ibuprofen, guaifenesin, pholcodiene linctus and dextromethorphan for their under 6s claiming all other pharmacies will provide them with it.
