I'm quite new to pharmacy and am hoping some of you will be able to give me some insight into the business by being part of this forum!
I'm currently working for The Co-operative Pharmacy on a project looking at how we are perceived by pharmacists from other companies. I have a short questionnaire that's designed to find out what people think of The Co-operative Pharmacy as an employer compared to our competitors.
It would be fantastic if you could spare a few minutes to answer some questions for me. If you would be interested in helping me out with my research please send me a private message for more details.
Thanks johnep, although I'm interested in finding out the perceptions of the Co-operative Pharmacy from those that work for other companies (Boots/Lloyds etc), so it would be great if those with no first hand experience of working for Co-operative Pharmacy would be willing to participate too.
Superdrug had a project like this some time back. Sent everyone a brown paper bag to put over their heads so they could visit a Superdrug store and not be recognised. Me I enjoyed working for SD, and they paid better than others.

I've locumed twice for the co-op, both branches were severely unstaffed and losing money as the "managers" had no business sense. Paying £600 for a special for an item that gets re-reimbursed at drug tariff as the endorsement gets ignored. £7k loss at one branch alone.
A few recruitment agencies chased me recently as the co-op were looking for a top flight manager locally but I didn't purse this any further.
I have a dim view of the co-op (and other multiples) and will be happy to explain my experiences and perceptions.
Thanks Web Ferret, I've sent you a private message.
If anyone that works for a community or supermarket pharmacy has a spare 15 minutes to fill in this questionnaire to help me out, I would really appreciate it. Please follow the link below.
