    dispensing a hospital script

When patients go to the outpatient clinic in a hospital they are given a script which is meant to be dispensed within the hospital pharmacy.
Sometimes they don't realise and bring it into the community pharmacy.
Some scripts have the words 'only to be dispensed in hospital' but other scripts don't have this wording.

Can we treat them as private script's and dispense anyway? Or send them back to hospital?

    thanks

We treated as a private script or pt could take into GP to be transferred onto NHS script.

Most end up at the GP's as no-one wants to pay privately......
