    Have a good day everyone....

As its the last day where having MRPharmS after your name counts for anything, I'd just like to wish all a good day, and lets hope we have some better tomorrows.

I'm thinking of booking the large hedron collider to see if we can spin some common sense around so that it reaches sufficient velocityto make any impact on the new Representative Body.

Will they now start looking after our interests - the paying customers!

    Good luck one and all.

Don't forget you are now just another number!
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................

Should you wish to apply to register you will also need to make sure that you are fit to practise as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
You should also read our Standards of conduct, ethics and performance and Standards for continuing professional development.
    3. Collect supporting documentation
Everyone applying to register will need to provide a certified copy of their passport, birth certificate (or statutory declaration) and qualification certificate. You will also need to complete a self declaration as to your fitness to practise as a pharmacy professional. You might also be required to send in additional supporting information as required, depending upon your route to registration. This information will be detailed in the relevant information pack and guidance notes depending on your route to the Register.

You will also need to complete a statutory declaration form in front of a solicitor if:
    • the name on your qualification certificate or any other supporting document is different from the name on, birth certificate, or
    • you are unable to find your birth certificate or marriage certificate or
    • the names on your supporting documents differ from that on your birth/marriage certificate.
It is important that you provide the supporting documentation in the required formats as directed as you might incur a penalty charge should we have to ask for it again or in a different format.
    4. Notify us of any matter that might affect your fitness to practise
If you have a criminal conviction, caution or other matter, such as a health issue, that might affect your fitness to practise you should tell us as soon as possible. We have developed assessment criteria for good character and for health. You should also tell us if you have been registered with any other regulatory bodies. The information you provide helps us to assess whether you are fit to practise as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
    5. If relevant to your route to registration ask a pharmacist/pharmacy technician to countersign your application
We have provided pharmacists/pharmacy technicians with information and guidance on countersigning a registration application. If your pharmacist/pharmacy technician is still unsure about signing your application, you should ask them to contact the registration team. In the case of a Pharmacy Technician application:
    Email: pharmacytechnician@pharmacyregulation.org
    Telephone: 020 3365 3560
In the case of a Pharmacist registering following completion of the GPhC pre-registration training scheme and registration assessment:
    Email: mailtopharmacytechnician@pharmacyregulation.org
    Telephone: 020 3365 3620
    6. Send in your completed application form, supporting documents, application and registration fees
Send your completed application form to the address provided on the form, along with your supporting documentation and the appropriate fees. We recommend that you send your registration form by recorded or special delivery as we cannot be responsible for any documents that are lost in the post. Alternatively you can deliver your application by hand.
    7. We will process your application
If you have included a stamped address envelope we will acknowledge safe receipt. If not we will contact you when we process your application. Processing times for each application type vary, however if your application is not complete or you do not send all the necessary supporting documentation delays will occur.
Please note that if you are required to provide a health certificate, or Certificate of Current Professional Status these must be received by us within 3 months of the date of issue by the appropriate authority. Date of issue refers to the date that the certificate has been signed and dated by the issuing authority.
    8. Registration complete
Once your application has been successfully processed, we will write to you to tell you that you have been registered. We will also provide you with your registration number and confirm the validity period of your registration. Your registered details, including your name, registration number and the town where you reside, will then be listed in the register and available to the public. Please note that your full address will not appear on the publicly accessible register.

    Footnote..You will earn 30K (if you're lucky)..
