Somebody please help...last week had a phone interview for a job with a supermarket in suffolk..they asked me what i wanted for a salary and i blurted out 39k..lady on the other end was like she doesn't see a problem with that then told me it would be for 43hrs...now greedy me is thinking should i have gone higher? should i ask for more when i go for the interview next week citing that i thot 39k was for 38hrs of regular shift? meaning no lates? btw,I am newly qualified....pse be gentle with me, i need lotsa money to pay my huge student loan..
Tell her your quote was pro rata 9-5 five days week, hour for lunch and two 15 min breaks. Do the maths to convert to 43 hours and no lunch or breaks.
