looking for some experience in retail pharmacy before i apply for uni

Hi , im hoping to do an access course starting in September to get in mpharm at Manchester or Liverpool.

I really need some community experience - so do any of you lovely posters want to take me on , for a few hours, days....whatever!! Im very hardworking

I live in Manchester but will travel...within reason obviously! And preferable this month or next month !!

Perfect opportunity for free staff to work behind your counter!

Oh and ive emailed all the hospitals , yet to hear back, but one of my mums friends is a pharmacists at Salford Royal. Hoping she'll get me in there!

I love your enthusiasm......And I wish you tons of luck getting sorted.
The only problem I can see that may get in your way is the "free staff" thing. Large chain retail pharmacies have to go through head offices with recruitment and there is also employee insurances. I'm just wondering if having a walk around your area and chatting to the owner/managers of independant pharmacies may prove to be more useful??
