    2 year qualified - salary

I am leaving band 6 hospital post and moving to community pharmacy as the pay in hospital is really poor, i have applied for a few jobs as relief and store management in the north west region.

Realistically i need to have some idea on the sort of wage i should be getting for a full time position, i don't have much community experience but have been qualified for 2 years. What sort of salary could i realistically achieve?

A locum would expect £20-25/hr. Use that as a starting point.

    Ok so a 5 day week doing 8 hours at £23 per hour = £920 per week x 47 weeks = £43240 with 5 weeks holiday.

Obviously self employed does not have the sick pay, pension and holiday pay benefits etc

So realistically would £40K be a realistic target for a full-time position going into the interviews? Need to have an idea in my head as to what to expect

That should do nicely. However, co might say that lack of experience means they will start you at £33K and review at 6 and 12 months.
    good luck

I realistically would not expect to get as much as someone with 2 years community experience but I seriously think i will go into the interviews etc with a target of 40k a full-time post in my head

Having never worked in communit. Before I have not experienced bonus pYments, could anyone give me an idea how much you would generally be talking about? Is it hundreds? Or thousands?

bonus payments are exactly that - a bonus - they should not be expected nor factored into your salary / spending - quite frequently bonus offers (especially large ones) have the goalposts moved on them regularly! i wouldn't expect thousands unless you were at the top of your game in an independent turning an excellent profit. Any bonus (if you earn any) is more likely to be in the hundreds range, and don't forget it gets taxed too! (at 40% if you're in the top tax bracket, isn't it?)

Let's take an example. Me and my team doubled the net profit of my small shop in 12 months from 25k to just over 50k, and raised our profit % to 34% from 20%. For our hard work, other areas were assessed instead, and i earned less than 200 quid. Somewhat demotivating.

Similar to me early on in my career.
Found it was being done to increase the market value of the shop which was sold underneath me without seeing a penny of bonus.
The owner said that he had arranged everythng with the new buyer and that I could stay on.

I think you are being over optimistic unless there is a shortage in your area or prepared to work long hours.
