This caused a misunderstanding as this product is supplied in boxes of 6 and single p/f syringes cannot be supplied other than in multiples of 6. We were sent 4 boxes*6 for a Rx calling for 4 single p/f syringes. Roche will not accept the excess stock as returns, as apparently it is against the law for them to accept fridge lines as returns. Furthermore, to complicate matters, the next month, the patient who was receiving the 3000IU syringes had their prescribed strength of Neorecormon increased to 6000IU.
So we have excess stock of Neorecormon 3000IU syringes. 3*full boxes of 6, plus one part box of 2*p/f syringe. Lot no. H6087H01, expiry 09/2010.
As this is a fair few hundred pounds worth of stock, does anyone have any ideas or advice that may lead to this stock not going to waste?
