Anyone had an interview for pre-registration with Day Lewis. Just wanted to know the sort of questions they ask and where the branches are located!!

Let's be friendly.
Hi!
Never forget that Google is your friend!
Let us know how you get on, but don't forget that THEY may read this as well.
Welcome to the forum
....just my opinion
The kind of questions you can expect are:
Why are you interested in the company - make sure you do some research on their history it is always impressive when a pre-reg student is up to date with company news, you can do this by visiting their website and a bit of google work.
Why do you want to become a pharmacist?
What do you think you can bring to the company?
What changes would you make to pharmacy?
basically general interview questions..
They will also want to know how you will balance study and work
Try to be as flexible with location as possible - Day Lewis have a lot of branches most of them appear to be in the south of england.
Remember to be clear and concise with your answers, even if it means taking a couple of seconds to collect your thoughts - Try not to be nervous - they wont grill you.
Best of luck with your interview, keep us updated on your progress.
They only Day Lewis pharmacies i know of are down south like devon and cornwall
Day-Lewis ae located primarily South & East of a line between the Severn and Wash!
The company was founded by two related Patels, but one died of (IIRC) cerebral malaria and it was left to the survivor, Kirit, a former Treasurer of the Society and NPA.
They seem to look after staff, and there are social events to which staff get invites, but any promises from KP I'd want confirmed in writing before acting on it.
Let's just say. Once bitten.
Thank you all for your comments, were very much appreciated!!
(Defblade, sort ur attitude out before u decide to answer any thread of mine, otherwise u wnt get such a warm welcome)
Anyhow the interview went well but they seem keen on relocating people , the interviewer was trying to put words into my mouth lol otherwise it was okay as all the interview questions were all competency based.![]()
Put your own legwork in and don't ask stupid questions, then you won't get stupid replies![]()

FWIW, I very rarely look at the poster's name, only what they've written. I've stopped reading any posts that ask questions which are clearly part of the poster's homework as they wind me up too much; you hit the same nerve with the "location" part of your OP.
A quick Google of Day Lewis Chemist brings up their home page, on which is a tab named 'store locator'. That is why we get annoyed with daft requests for information!!
