    Re: Problems with the manager

Don't blame yourself Fallen. Maybe this is a case of a personality clash which happens frequently as is nobody's fault. It's just how things are sometimes. I think you've tried to do the right thing but maybe leaving is the best solution in this case. Have a look around for another job. I thought i'd always be stuck in an unhappy and depressing pharmacy with a Pharmacist who wasn't fit to sell OTC never mind dispense but we are now lucky enough to be being managed by a fantastic and professional Pharmacist/Manager.

Sorry to hear about your problems.Would you consider locum dispensing for the company? Dispensers are always in short supply where I am.

    UPDATE

Just a quick update. I am working for the same company but have moved branches and feel a lot happier. My new managers seem nice and approachable and actually 'manage' the branch/staff which is great. Oh yeah and I don't get ignored either I had to speak to my old manager this week and he didn't even ask how it was going at my new branches. I'm so glad I'm out of there

    A HAPPY Fallen

A real sign that he knows he was in the wrong, IMO

I too am happy to hear that you're now in a branch where the manager is nice to you . I had a very similar experience as well, I didn't get on well with my previous non-pharmacist manager. In my opinion he just takes everything too seriously and constantly criticize the way I do things, I don't feel respected as a pharmacist, and the normal daily jobs just become too stressful so I left the branch and become a relief. I think it's the best choice I've ever made, I get appreciated every shop I go, get on very well with staff (including shops with non-pharmacist managers) and have never felt happier
