Which multiple to work for? Will be qualifying in two weeks!
Hi all, my first post here.
Been viewing this forum for the past two months now, looking for ideas on where to go for my future career prospects.
I am working in Northern Ireland at the moment and will be qualifying on the 4th August, after which there are absolutely no jobs here >.<
One of my friends has gone to isle of man, a few more have headed over to Scotland. I myself am thinking of England more specifically around Manchester/Liverpool or anywhere that has a airport nearby to fly back to Northern Ireland once a month or so! Can anyone give me advice regarding living costs also? Which areas are good and relatively good value for money?
Have looked around at Boots, Lloyds, Tescos, Asda, which would you recommend for a newly qualified? I think post qualification training would be important and generally just a good employer lol! Plus if the wages are decent that would also help

Rowlands would get my vote, although they all have plusses and minuses. Liverpool is pretty cheap to live in, and had a thriving Irish culture when I lived there.
There is a lot of work around the area, as it has a bad name, although parts of the city are just great to live in for a newly qualified, e.g. the Lark Lane area. Its a shortish bus-ride from John Lennon airport, as well. I spent many happy times in Keiths wine bar, there.
