We have a seperate line for ordering of repeats but if you ignore it because you're short staffed/very busy etc the patients then ring through on the main phone line (tel number printed on our dispensing labels) and have a go at whoever answers that phone. Also, when I accepted the offer for my current job I was told that there'd been lots of complaints that it took staff too long to answer the phone and it was my job to ensure it was answered quickly. Not entirely sure I've achived that in all honesty.
