In situations of famine, food as aid should be sent by well-off countries, in the same style as aid was sent to the tsunami victims. Long term, if the West dealt with poorer countries in fair-trade, then the Africans should be able to import grains in exchange for the crops they export.
When the greedy West, the largest consumers of meat, become less greedy, they might also become a bit more generous and begin to solve the crippling debt problem of poorer countries.

Everything has a design and way of sustainability. Lions keep the population of what it eats (eg buffalos) down. When they are in short supply the population of lions reduces. And then the population of buffalos thrives then the population of lions increases etc etc. It's a cycle.

There is always someone more enlightened than you, no matter how much you excel.

And the term perfection is relative. It depends on what one sees as perfect.

Depends what you mean by missionary. I honour the responsibility my advancement gives me, of warning and raising awareness in others.

There is nothing beyond perfect enlightenment, so no-one can be more, and it is not relative, if you can't recognise perfect enlightenment it is because you are spiritually unevolved.

If the buffalos were not being murdered by lions, their reproduction rate would decrease naturally. And again, why should buffaloes die to sustain evil lions? When a rottweiler attacks a human, it is put down, and rightfully so.

Why would Saddam involving other countries be a problem that warranted killing innocents???? All the Middle East already knew it was their oil, it certainly doesn't belong to the Greedy Westerners.

Uni, the more you talk the crazier you sound. If you're so smart then why are you trying to steer the course of nature? Your allegedly advanced brain surely must realize that you shouldn't mess with the course of nature. Things are the way they are today because it took a long time to make them that way. Things also happen in cycles, and history has shown the rise and fall of many a great civilization: Phoenicians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Ottomans, and all the Native American Indian tribes from the Incas to the Mayas, etc... It may very well be that the Western Civilization is next due to the high level of greed (not the consumption of meat, sorry to disappoint you). World War III may very well be something that we will see in our lifetime, and this time, it more than likely WILL be the war to end all wars because of the high number of nuclear bombs all over the world. Why do I believe that this war is imminent? Because of people with extreme views such as yourself. Of course, you're on one end of the spectrum, but there is someone out there with the exact opposite beliefs who feels just as strongly that they are right, and it is their job to be a missionary and spread the word to everyone (no, I'm not one of those people, I'm just your average Joe, just a squirrel trying to get a nut). One of these days all the extreme people with your thought process will clash with their extreme opposites, and the most likely senario for the end result will be that no one will survive that clash.

God help us all, and for Christ's sake, just shut up already and keep your views to yourself if you care at all about anyone or anything in this world.

I've glanced through the posts from our perfect 5th element member, but got fed up when she started attacking Jews and thinks she can somehow re-train every animal that naturally eats other animals. I hope she doesn't plan to apply this to insects, because if we train up all the spiders to eat grass the flies will drive me mad.

I wish people would not rise to the bait with this person. There are plenty of forums for debating politics, religion etc out there, and we are supposed to be a pharmacy forum aren't we?

If she was really serious about the things she writes about she would be doing VSO somewhere, not offering emergency locums, 150 miles either way, with the obvious extra income that this type of work brings in. The only "emergency" locums I know are greedy sods who wait until a shop has no pharmacist, turn up at lunchtime, and charge a fortune. In truth, greedy devils.

Does anyone believe she sends a good proportion of that money to help starving people? I very much doubt it. I also doubt she is: -

Are you lot sure you don't want to re-think the vote I put up? We have a looney one issue troller on the forum - why do we want to keep her? She doesn't even start a thread on religion etc, she just posts all over the place. How on earth has a discussion about the refusal of EHC got to the retraining of lions to eat grass????? How mad can you get - lions eat zebras. If they can they'll go for a big buffalo, but they prefer zebra for some reason. I don't know why, that's just what the local guide told me when I was in Kenya.

As for all the politics most of it is really very complex, and there is no simple one line answer. I personally remember seeing the bodies of the Kurds gassed by Mr Hussain. Women, children, men everything dead. Then there's the mass graves found in Iraq and torture prisons - I think we all know he was not a nice guy to his people. Wether we should have had a war is for yourselves to decide.

Can we all please get back to pharmacy issues?
