Has anyone else heard about this. I have heard you are only expected to know chapters 1-6 of BNF in detail for the exam. Does this mean the other chapters can be ignored??
Any pre-regs from last year concur?

Do you think it is OK to practise as a pharmacist knowing only this material ? The later chapters are not irrelevant and contain some important topics - NSAID's are a biggie, they could ask a generic chemo q, nutrition stuff eg iron, COC's, skin is an important chapter, etc etc.

”We are real. We are not glam sh*t or anything else. We are Guns N’ Roses.”
You weren't the one asking the question though - unless you hold multiple accounts ? Anyway to state my opinion again and more simply I don't think that it's wise to miss out chunks of information from the BNF. At the end of the day though what you revise is your decision.

I had a reply to the OP's post but for some reason not come up. Thought you were just getting annoyed as you had seen my reply lol
Nick is right. You cant just depend on first 6 chapters. I think our friend was asking for close book exam. Even if you do it for close book, its not safe.
Once they asked question from SKIN chapter in close book which was " which of the following creams are applied once daily"
Plus if you dont read deeply the rest chapters , you will have difficulty in locating in open book. Im not saying to read each and every thing but at least you should know where are the important things especially the start of each chapter.
I know our seniors used to say to us to do first 6 chapters and only sample papers but since past few years ,this has been dramatically changed. And as I say always, if your concepts arent clear, you cant even make an educated guess in the exam. One has to study very deeply these days. If you ve studied deeply, you will find exam easier otherwise its really tough these days.
