Taking a year out before pre reg?

Made very plain to me when young that first responsibility was to get qualified. Regarded as selfish to put pleasure before duty.

That was a long time ago. 'Duty' is a word that seems to have disappeared from the dictionary since.

In my experience when people ask your opinion what they really want is for you to tell them that what they have already decided is a good idea. If you do, you are a wonderful mentor. If you don't, they go and ask someone else until they find someone to back them up.
Only the very wise actually listen to what you say and few young people are wise. Not that many older people are either.

I would suggest to finish pre reg first as im an oversea pharmacist and as time goes clinical knowledge and also getting back to studying is harder so while you have done 4 years of degree and in that study mood and your knowledge and skills are up to date might as well make most of it now and then you have all the time in the world to travel as you wish.
