Could be choosing between the frying pan or the fire. Marginally, BTC may be better. Otherwise choose the most convenient.

    Re: boots or lloyds?

Well done for getting the pre reg job. I can only give an answer from a Tech's point of view who's (hopefully) helped a few pre reg students with both these companies and please keep in mind my experience is only with a handful of branches. Each branch is different.
Look at the money side of things....who pays the most and what your travel requirements will be. Size of store makes a difference and how busy they are. Also find out about the current staffing levels. Staff discount is better at Boots. The support systems seem to be ok for both. The last pre reg I worked with at BTC was not happy because she very rarely got any study time because we were swamped with work everyday. She said she felt like she'd been used as a skivvy for the whole year. But that branch was beyond busy and had huge staffing issues. Have you had a look around the possible places? And have you met the Pharmacists? Hope these comments help a bit. Good luck and best wishes to ya....
