has anyone written a patient information leaflet before (for parents)?
I am writting a patient information leaflet for parents to raise their awareness about the safety of some medicines. i would really appreciate it if someone can read it and tell me what they think of it or any comments? anyone?
Re: has anyone written a patient information leaflet before (for parents)?
CNS stimulants (methyphenidate) for kids with ADHD
-need to keep the drug in its container so that you have some form of evidence that the medicines is their child's and they havent just picked up
- I just want someone to read over it and see if it sounds ok (check that its written properly)thats all.

But why do you want to write something that is already available through the manufaturers of these medicines? I mean, the PILs that come in the original box or which can be downloaded online and printed. I am not sure if you do such a thing, then is it OK to be handed over to a parent/ patient without being approved by MHRA or any such organisation?
Re: has anyone written a patient information leaflet before (for parents)?
the PIL doesnt contain the legality aspects regarding methyphenidate....and yes it has to be approved by MHRA before getting to parents but this is just first steps...
