far as i'm aware it's no longer free. RPSGB used to give them for free but that all changed with the GPhC
are they still sent out for free to pharmacies every year though in the post?
wait until the autumn bulletin is issued, as this will give you information on the reference texts needed. as the MEP is now produced by the professional body, and not the regulator, this may not be a compulsory text for the summer 2012 examination.
wont it be impossible for the exam laura considering all the schedules are in the mep
Hi, you can try apply for Associate membership from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and once you get your log in details, you can download the new MEP for free.
Hope this helps.

Not necessarily - they have examined on law in the closed book exam before: mainly CDs, prescription requirements, and emergency supply.
The new MEP contains no information on chloroform, poisons, CHIP and COSHH which were examined in the open book. It is now much more of a guidance reference as befits a professional body than a document of the law as a regulator would produce.
The GPhC may produce their own guide of the legal stuff, provide the MEP, expect trainees to have a copy of the MEP, or not have a reference text for the law. Who knows at present?
It's somewhat frustrating now knowing what's going on with the MEP business! Argh!
FYI - I heard from a Preregistration Tutor at the BPSA Graduate Conference, as I said above - the GPhC will be releasing details of the reference texts in the Autumn Bulletin.
It is largely suspected (though this is hear'say not fact) amongst tutors that the MEP will not be included in this list.
The Autumn Bulletin is due for release in the next few weeks.
