Surely GPhC must be obliged to provide registrants with an MEP...

Afraid not. It's only available for free to RPSGB members. Non members have to purchase it from the Pharmaceutical Press

What I don't get is, when I'm practising, how do I now find out things like legal requirements for scripts, or look up the classification of a drug or do any of the myriad functions that the MEP used to serve but no longer does. I've still got my 2010 MEP but that's going to get more and more outdated as time goes by. I could probably look most of these things up online, but the big companies have decided for whatever reason that having the internet in the dispensary isn't a good idea. It was just nice to have it all in one book for easy reference.
