Would be interesting to hear what has happened to those poor individuals who have failed three times.

Of course they won't help. What you have to do is get your wallet out and join the RPS for their "professional support". Silly really.

Personally, I think the pharmacy profession has been discussing the problems with regulators and representitives for long enough. Its time we actually stopped letting them **** us about. We need some form of mass protest amongst the pharmacy profession that will force the GPhC to listen. Id say something like a mass visit to their HQ would be in order, and we don't leave until we get to speak to someone in a position of power. Or we get as many people as want to play a part to anonymously phone the GPhC every day and ask when they're going to do something about this. There must be thousands of pharmacists, pre-regs and students in the UK frustrated by this and if we can get just a small proportion of them to take part and phone once daily we can jam their phone lines and force them to listen to us so they can get some peace.

I know you have advocated this possible course of action for a while now John, without much response. May I just say I fully agree with you, and the sooner something is done about this unacceptable situation, the better. The scales have tipped. It has become out of hand. Perhaps a petition of some sort could help..

Honestly can't anything be done right in this country? I thought the point of this GPhC was to do things properly but its like these call centres in India where nothing works! Honestly I don't see the point of pre-reg myself doctors go straight out why not pharmacists? The whole pharmacy degree needs to be looked at as currently it is simply inadequate! Pharmacy is more of a vocational degree but we dont get any vocational training at university?

Can we get every pharmacist in the country to petition to get rid of the GPhC please, we dont need regulation as i am all for self regulation! I am sure we can do a much better job than the GPhC
