Pre-reg exam question

Hi

First post on the forum. Doing my pre-reg in hospital this coming august. It may be a common question but just wanted to double check something about the exam.

I understand there is an open book and closed book paper as follows:

Closed Book

90 practice based questions
45 minutes is allowed for the paper
There is no negative marking for incorrect or omitted questions

Open Book

60 practice based questions
20 calculation questions
75 minutes is allowed for the paper
Calculators are not allowed
There is no negative marking for incorrect or omitted questions

I understand that the two papers are on the same day too.

My question then, is there another paper specifically for calculations or is this just the 20 questions included in the open book? I don't know if im getting mixed up thinking theres a separate calculations exam.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

No, there are no other calculations except those in the open book.

Think there may be the odd one in the closed book, but it's usually something incredibly simple.

Just re-read OP's post. Closed book is 90 q's in 90 mins, and open book is 60 mcq's + 20 calcs in 2.5 hrs. Hopefully this isn't a surprise to anybody for friday.
