    Adjustments - General Pharmaceutical Council

I very much doubt you'll get given extra time if it's just the timing aspect of the exam that you struggle with.

It appears that you have missed the deadline (1st April 2011) to apply for extra time if you were planning on sitting the June exam this year.

The extra time is only given if your doctor gives the examining board a medical report of any disability (including dyslexia) you have which could affect your performance in the exam.

In Ireland they take into account if you have been given similiar allowances while at college, so if you could pass your uni exams in the allocated time they may want to know why you now need extra.
Don't know if the attitude is the same over there.

I don't think extra time is worth it, its a multi-guess exam, in the real world you don't get much extra time, although I could use it as I am a slow typist. Practise and learn where to look in the books, you should be able to get up to speed in a couple of months, I panicked after my first practice closed book but once I got the hang of it was okay, having said that did not finish in the exam and passed.
