Hi everyone. As you know most of the questions in the closed book come form the BNF. Is there a summarised version of the important points in each chapter of the BNF?
Hi everyone. As you know most of the questions in the closed book come form the BNF. Is there a summarised version of the important points in each chapter of the BNF?
Yes there is a summary with all the key points it is called the Ultimate GPhC Exam guide you can find it at lulu.com. I think you can find it on amazon aswell...
Thanks for the reply, but has anyone used The Ultimate GPhC Registration Assessment Exam Guide book? Can I read it alone instead of the bnf and still pass the exam?
in a word, no. the point of the open book exam is to make you familiar with the use of the bnf, and how to use it effectively - as you learn to use it, you should be picking up on a lot of knowledge for the closed book exam at the same time. A good technique might be to make your own summaries as you go along, from the section notes in each bnf chapter. The summaries in the guide book might well be useful but there is always the risk that they do not go into as much depth as you need for the exam. By all means use the guide book, but use it as an addition, not as a substitute.
