Re: can anyone help me regarding how to do an audit on waiting time in pharmacy
beofre i go ahead and give my pennies worth, have you thought for yourself what you want the standards to be??
if i remember correctly there is an audit cycle? so the idea is to come up with a problem, come up with soemthing on how to fix the said problem, come up with the change, and then re-audit to see if it has worked.....File:Clinical audit cycle.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia there si the full audit cycle in a pretty picture format!!
Re: can anyone help me regarding how to do an audit on waiting time in pharmacy
prescription waiting time in pharmacy
standers: 90% of prescription will be completed with in 8 minutes
10% of prescription will be completed with in 8-9 minutes but less then 10 minutes
observation: i will be able to get daily average waiting time in range of(let's suppose 5-7 minutes) and patients have to wait wait less then 10 minutes(let's suppose between 90%-67%). how i will be able to relate this with my standers?
how can i compare results with the standers ........and if results would be less or equal or more then standers then what kind of things i have to look for which affecting the waiting time of prescription and how can i put then in audit.
