yep it was 3...calcs was so much easier this time....but rest of open book was pretty hard, had to look everything up!! so ran out of time...found closed book hard too....arghh!!!!
Yeh calcs were way easy this time, I agree the closed book ws very detailed ths time, ws like bloody hell but worked alot of things out, hopefully in 3 weeks.
hey the cd table question had me fooled for good few minutes in the closed book.hell it still got me confused! lorazepam if im not wrong is a shed 4 cd hence the first question in the table about quantity in words and figures dont apply so that left two rows c and d ironically! the second question in the table was if address of prescriber had to be in uk...i thought yes thinking outside uk, eea and swiss not allowed to prescribe any cd. but then that option led to final question being answered no for emergency supply when shed 4 are allowed right? i havent checked mep yet but anyone else wonder! also for the syringe question in the closed book did ya'll get 19.2ml or sum like that? p.s. closed paper was hardddddddd!! not to say open was easy!

@ carnage, indeed I was puzzled at the same thing! lorazepam so I just picked one that said prescriber doesnt have to be in the UK even tho emergency supplies arent allowed for sc 1-5 from EEA or swiss prescribers.....
and yea 19.4 mL was it? open book eye drops took for ever as well to get to 3 bottles!!
surprising some people had time to look everything up?? such a shame knowing where everything is with tags but not having time to look it up, the names of the meds were also very unknown had to look them up or guess and the question on chemicals and poisons?!
Yeh I agree, tgt question puzzled me took thnk it may hav been a mistake on behalf of the rpsgb as the question doesn't fit in wid the current cd table.. Yeh I gt 19.4mls as u hav to take 0.3mls per 1g and since ther wer 2g we hadto take 0.6mls.. Yeh closed was hard, I ws always left wid 2 which I thort wer the answer lol.. Yeh open ws long, I jus about finishd on time but didn't gt to chek lol. Hopefully it all goes well guys.
it must be a mistake in the cd table in the MEP because in the paragraphs regarding eea and swiss prescribers in the MEP it says they are not allowed to prescribe cd's. oromorph had the same problem. should they both not have had answers as NO to words and figures, YES to address in uk, NO to entry in cd reg, YES to emergency? but there was no option for that. p.s. the oxygen flow rate calc did you use 20secs or 6 mins to calculate answer...i used 20secs but i think im mistaken!
does anyone know how they actually mark the exam? I mean if there was a mistake would they actually realise even tho it 's marked automatically?
oxygen i used 20 sec coz it said using the smallest interval but now thinking about it..!!it may b either way...depending on what they mean by interval!!
Yeh defo a mistake, I think if thy do find a mistake then they take that question out of marking and do it out of the remaining questions.. I used 20secs, I thort tht ws rite lol.. Does anyone rememberyhr insulin one in closed book, do we stop using insulin in severe diarrhoea.
