Firstly dress smartly, like suit tie (or female equivalent). You wouldn't believe what the clothes that some people were wearing, embarrassing.

They then asked me to describe a difficult time in my life and how I got through it. Easy question, I talked about a bit of bereavement... life goes on blah blah blah. Why I chose the two hospitals in question. They asked me to explain the role of technicians. Next they asked what kind of things do you need to be aware of when starting warfarin therapy, I mentioned its teratogenicity which one of them liked, i could tell by her facial expression. Does the patient have renal or hepatic impairment etc? Remember the basics of warfarin what is the target INR and condition? Know the pill colours... easy. Know a few interactions they allowed me to pick any interaction, explain it scientifically and any counselling points, trust me sitting in front of two women to pick the oral contraceptive pill and start talking about condoms haahahaha. What do you want to do in the future?

I also had a multiple choice calculation test 6 or so questions, they were very easy. Like how many 5 mg pills need to be supplied if Mrs X has 10 mg bd for the first week and 20 mg bd for week 2. Brush up on calcs if you know you have them, south east does Im not to sure about the regions, you dont want to be caught with your cock out if you know what I mean. I spent about 2 weeks preparing for this interview and i got my first choice hospital, there no such thing as over prepared.

Make sure you have some questions of your own.
