I was wondering if anyone can help me or give any advice. I have been trying to procure a pre-reg position for 2011 but every position I have applied for and been interviewed for I have been rejected. My last resort is hospital pharmacy and I know that is reallyyy competitive. If I don't get a placement for 2011 is there any other routes I can take to ensure I get a pre-reg position.

try C+D or pharmalife website or PJ there'll be still loadsa places to go, although mosta them will be independents or hospital...Good luck

Just so you know, you're not alone. I know a few people that are in the same position as you. From what I've heard, some people don't find a their pre-reg place till half way through their final year!
So don't despair just yet.

Thanks for the tips, they've really been reassuring. I'm gonna apply for hospital pre-reg in the hope of getting a placement. Do you have any tips on how to bedazzle the interviewers with my application? Thanks again

Have you got any experience working in a hospital or can you arrange a visit? It's getting a bit late with Pharmalife, deadline is 31st Aug I think.
