how busy is your pre reg pharmacy? (items per month/day)

just started working as a pre reg in a pharmacy and its not too busy, probably about 100 items a day (3000 a month im told). does it matter? i know u wud probably get more variation with more items at a bigger place but is there a real disadvantage in the context of pre reg?

I would think as long as you get prescriptions from several surgeries (rather than only one), you will come across most scenarios (i.e. Different GPs have different prescribing habits, practice policies etc). It would also be good to get experience with addicts if possible, maybe a day/week in another pharmacy if yours doesn't provide this service.
Gordons chemist do a split pre-reg where you have 6 months in 2 completely different stores, which I personally think is an excellent idea. Boots only do a one month swap which isn't compulsory.
