    Preregistration Exam - June 2010

How did everyone find the exam?

I thought the open and closed book was OK. I might have failed the calculations exam but I was sort of ran out of time and some of the questions were particularly tricky. I'm counting 3 or 4 that I couldn't get the answer for. Plus 4 or 5 that I might have calculated wrong.

Oh well, theres always the resit

The biggest stress inducing exercise ( or should I say the first attempt) is finally over. We can relax for couple of weeks now till we hear our fate from the society. The toughest paper ever in the history of the Society I recon. What a way to transfer power to the new governing body :-( Anyway hope all will be well and we all get through.

I found the close book really hard. Both papers are nothing like the sample papers I have been thru'.
The calculation is ok but they are not easy and require a lot of attentions to small details.

But all in all, I do have a feeling that I have failed them
Or I hope I just failed the closed book

PS. I dunno why previous pre-regs kept saying its similar to the past sample papers, they are NOT for sure...............

the exam today is fine, however i dont have time to double check the answer in open book quuestions
the calculation is pretty tough, i went thru all but it takes me an hour to finish it
but then the open book questioins are not easy too, i almost has to check the bnf to find out the answer and some of them i cant find out due to the stress. .
but anyway it should be fine.,

Hope you all the best, we should relax and enjoy the few weeks left for the pre-reg

I found the open book hard as well, calculations took me 70mins and there are about more than 20 open book questions I wasnt sure but didnt have time to 'open' my book, most are statement questions(I have a feeling I got all of them wrong), and then I was on the wrong train back home this evening because I couldnt stop thinking the exam, I think I have failed.
