Please help, really confused about tagging for the exam
im doing the pre reg exam this year and im really confused about the tagging of the reference sources particularly the bnf and mep. could anyone please give me a DETAILED list of things that should be tagged for the bnf and mep, i would really appreciate this. im scared that i might walk into the exam having under/over tagged my reference sources. i guess its really important to tag correctly as this will determine how well you do in the exam.
Re: Please help, really confused about tagging for the exam
well, you tag it as you see fit. The tagging is there more to get quick access to different sections rather than flicking through the reference sources.
for the bnf, you can either tag pages 100, 200, 300 400 etc then you can quickly get to the right page instead of flicking through the pages..tag the appendices, i made the index into a phone book style by cutting the pages up and having an A-Z list down the side
as for MEP, the parts you use msot from doing past papers. been a whilse since i tagged my MEP so can't really remember. the worst thing to do is tag every page because there will be too much paper sticking out your bnf/mep it becomes more of a hindrance

Errr... I never felt the need to tag anything? The pages are numbered, and there's an index already.
I'd spend time learning the stuff instead.
Or you could end up like Rimmer (beautiful revision chart, cross referenced, coloured in indexed colours, finally finished about 30 seconds before the exam starts).
