Anyone still looking for a pre-reg position for 20010/11, we have a few community pharmacies offering great training with the added bonus of attending an intensive preregistration training programme to help fully prepare you for the registration exam, places are limited so please PM me for details.

Yes, i recieved the PM then however I had a placement already by that time but did not know the location. Now, I cannot go as far as I have been asked to go therefore I am looking for something alot closer to home.

You will have to realise that getting into uni is only the first step of a long ladder. At every step there will be lots of other qualified people and you will have to stand out in some way. List all your good points, interests etc and also list what may be bad points. Then check them out with friends and do what you can to 'increase the positive do away with the negative and don't be Mister In Between'.
With the increase in student numbers and few regular pharmacists available for training, will only get harder. There was a government scheme to encourage employers to take on apprentices, find out about that.

I am a pharmacy pre-registration trainee and there is a pogram RPSGB sets out. Your comment is outside this program.

Unfortunately, this forum is not for recruitment, advertising jobs etc. We sometimes feel the RPSGB is carrying out a 'pogr(o)m' against it's members.

If there is a RPSGB program, then ask them. We often find first time posters do not set out their questions clearly so we can understand what they require. If you are just looking for a vacancy, then this is not the place. If you are looking for advice as to how to stand out then that is what I was trying to do.
