Re: whats required for pre reg year??

I had a look at the contract a while back and the starting date was in june or july cant remember exactly...but will they let me start in november if I want to??

I spoke to one of my friends who has recently passed the pre reg exam and he said he read the following books to pass the exam:

Symps in pharmacy (bleenkinsopp), lloyds calcs book, bnf, drug tariff, and mep.

Those are the only books he used. Everyone agree? Is this everything I need to pass the exam?

I am currently in my third year and we have a module in which we learn about emulsions, suspensions, bioavailability, mass transfer etc.

We have been recommended to read aultons pharmaceutics and FASTtrack: Pharmaceutics - Drug Delivery and Targeting

I really don't like this topic hope it is not assessed in pre reg year.

Will i need to know this stuff for reg???
