Thanks everyone for replying! I've decided that am going to just put extra effort into my pre-reg year to compensate for my situation. I got the past papers today and will start going through my BNF an drug tariff. I am pretty competent with my BNF but I have barely any experience with the drug tariff. Apparently some of my friends are going on NPA training days on using the drug tariff so il just have to p/copy their stuff as some of you have suggested. I have got myself two weeks hospital experience which isn't much but am lookin forward to it. In the future if i need advice, which i will, please keep posting and feel free to give me anymore random bits of advice that you can think of. I really appreciate it an am glad ive joined this forum!! Enjoy your wkend everyone!

If your pharmacy is NPA registered ask you tutor (or you may have better luck with on site manager) to send you on NPA training sessions. Not to worry if you don't go I had a few hours of drug tariff training and the hand out and exercises from the (whatever the PPA is supposed to be called) website, you can download these and a power point presentation I think that will explain everything.
The PSNC (Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC)) also has some useful guides. You should learn all that in practice anyway but you may pick up some stuff that will save the company money, in which case you will be better placed to ask for training. I recommend the yahoo groups pre-reg CD, everything you need for the exam is there.
Good luck

(2): know how NOT to work so all I do will be better
thanks for support from this site
ps. where can i get past papers? only seen half rpsgb half prac papers...need proper prac so can pass 1st time
There are no past papers. You can join the yahoo groups and talk to your friends a Boots and co-op as some people make practise papers. Some books and web sites have a selection of questions which you can make you practice papers out of.
If you wish to become a pharmacist, I suggest that you don't try to take the exam paper out with you when you do get to write the exam. Search the forum, lots of links here.
