Another option is to post their addresses on newsgroups so the spam bots pick them up and they get spammed from other spammers.

All sounds a bit complicated! The sending out bills will never work - trust me on this, someone tried it on me once! They don't have proper e-mail addresses either, and can easily change them.

We haven't had any tonight (that I can see) so hopefully option 2 is working.

Ah, Just say on the signing up screen that you have signed up to a service that logs Initial Host IP addresses of all posters.
Whether or not you do this is another matter but it is a deterrent!

I can already do that, and sorry it isn't a deterrent as they know this happens. I'm not trying to be negative, but these guys are really clever.

Anyway, we have two new moderators that can delete their posts as well as me, and the new signing on screen should stop them doing it - hopefully!
