| Hi I'm a teacher of English in a 6th form college, but became interested (or should I say required to become interested!) in Pharmacy through my elder daughter - who, to my surprise, always enjoyed science. Her Chemistry teacher recommended Pharmacy, but I must say she found the course hard as there was lots of Physics and Maths in it. I turned to the forum for advice when she ran into problems in her pre-reg placement. And now I'm an addict! She's moved to hospital now - Yay! - and is much happier, but she says they are terribly understaffed. There are 5 of us and we all love music - I'm going to see The Black Keys at Manchester Academy on 21st May, and I may go to The Green Man Festival again this August as Pentangle are re-forming! PM me if you are going! I saw Robert Plant there last summer, but it was all a bit of a mudfest. I usually listen to Hendrix or the Stones as I drive to work, letting them do my rebellion against "the man" for me! Cowardly - but I've gotta pay the bills. Has anyone seen "Control" - Ian Curtis film? that and "One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest" can be seen as dark, if cliched, shortcuts to introducing myself! Rock on! |
