Hello,
i just finished my A-level exams and i got: 5 A's and 1 B and im looking at universities, im thinking to apply to UCL, 1) do you guys think i will be accepted? 2) is it any good?, 3) do they also look at your personal statement?
very much appreciate if someone could answer these questions!
I don't understand you usually apply to uni's at the start of your final year at school. Writing up a personal statement, applying for a loan, sending off applications to unis happens throughout the year so after your results come out in august you should have an idea of where you're headed off to. Do you mean you've finished the first year of your A-levels ? Incidentally how do you know your results, these don't come out until august.

Ok thanks for clearing up. So you've just finished first year with 5 A's and 1 B, well done (still haven't explained how you got your results now though). Bad news is UCL don't do pharmacy they do pharmacology
There are quite a few threads in the student section about which uni's people consider applying for - Uni tables may be worth a look as well.

So what subjects: Media studies, psychology, criminology, medieval history, art, or did you actually study something relevant to pharmacy?
you don't say, so how are we to know?

Just realised that I had made my first reply on here to a post, after being joined for a year and not introducing myself (how rude!!)
Been working in pharmacy for nearly 18 years - 16 of which in the same community pharmacy. Started off as a Saturday girl and am now an ACT.
I like to lurk on here now and again, and enjoy reading the variety of things that affect you all - its is a very helpful and informative forum!

Hi all,
Just found you guys via Twitter. I am an English pharmacist now living and working in Canada. I had to take the PEBC exams to get my license over here and once I passed I started up my own pharmacy forum for those that are studying for the PEBC (Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada) exams. If anyone is ever looking for information on working as a pharmacist in Canada head on over to http://www.pharmacyintern.ca and let us know.
Cheers,
Matthew
You are very welcome. I belong to sdn forum in US, will have a look at yours and see what i can do to keep it lively.

Hi,
Yeah, I don't have a snazzy name like Jason Bourne, but just a simple "sNASA" name will do me fine.
Or will it?
Anywho, I found this forum a while ago when I was doing some research and came across it again a few days ago, and though "ah, snazzy place is quite helpful" and decided to join!
I'm a third year student at UEA, UK! One more year to go! Woo! And if I manage to pass that *fingers crossed* I hope I will be accepted into hopital pharmacy. I'd completed my applications, but just hoping to hear from them!
ANyway, looking forward to meeting you all!![]()
