I stumbled across this forum and thought it was great.
I'm currently in my last year of A-levels. Next year I will be going on a gap year and during that time (hopefully) working in a hospital pharmacy. After that, off to university to become a Pharmacist!

Total newbie on this forum. Am an ACT from Somerset and registered technician with RPSGB. Work for one of the major chains, but am waiting for jobs to come up at the local hospital to have a change of scenery and hopefully get higher on the work ladder.

It depends on what course you are doing. I know some of them are different and have changed, but when I did mine, the first three were all about pharmacy things and drug tarriff, and then after that it was all about drugs and body systems. That was the NPA course in 2003

Hi,

I have been working in a pharmacy for about 2yrs now and have done my counter and dispensing courses. Started my technicians course through NPA in Jan 2009.

I'm a mum to a 9yr old son and only work part time, so spend my afternoons either cooking, cleaning or completing modules and units !!

Hope to chat to you all and get some valued advice and help, thanks in advance to all that reply to me and my questions.

i know what you mean about junior, am same as you, are you a pharmacist or a technician, i am studying for technician, i keep telling people i am far too old for study what they wont have it,

Hi everyone!
I came across this site totally by mistake but i think its great Im about two and a half months away from finishing my nvq3 and i can sincerly say i will not miss those units at all! I work for Morrisons pharmacy in Nottingham and would love to hear from anyone else from the company. I look forward to being of help (assuming i can BE of help ) and can't wait to get involved!
