New Look Pharmacy Forum!

The pharmacy forum has undergone massive changes recently.

If you haven’t visited the site for a while, here are some of the changes you will love: -

• New look skin and features
• Choose the skin – yes you can pick the forum colour that you prefer
• Quick links to enable you to easily navigate around the site
• Latest Discussions links - new threads are one click away
• Gallery – upload your photos to the site!

The networking side of things has improved a lot. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see a list of sites you can connect with.

• You can use the Facebook logo (under the log in box) and link your own Facebook account with the Pharmacy Forum. Any posts you make on the forum can be added to your Facebook wall page – you are asked first of course.
• Click the bottom Facebook link to link to the sites founder.
• Click the bottom Facebook group link for the Pharmacy Forum Group.
• Myspace allows you to also connect with the sites founder.
• Twitter – we couldn’t leave this one out could we!

The site networks with other sites much more then ever before and is the fastest growing dedicated pharmacy forum in the UK. We are the number one in Google and Bing for “pharmacy forum” and many other search terms. This community is rapidly growing and it’s thanks to people like you who have taken the time to register and contribute to this site.

Pharmacy has never seen so many changes in such a short amount of time. Err.... The text is a bit small

I would have either Avatar or pictures in sigs but not both. Short replies are lost in the jumble.

The colours are a bit "Batchelor pad bedroom"

Seems faster, still trying to get the hang of it though, I kinda liked the old colour scheme but sure I'll get used to this one.

I actually think it looks quite funky and modern but red and black will take a bit of getting used to. By the way what's with the ECG logo ?

I too miss the old easy on the eye green. But then, I expect even an old fuddy duddy like me will get used to it.

Hey folks it's Fleeg...

You can choose how you wish to view the forum by going to the bottom of the page. On the left you'll see a drop-down menu which says '--pulse red'. This is a quick style chooser. click on it and you'll also see the options '--pulse blue' and 'original' (the old forum skin). Choose which one you prefer, and that way everyone's happy!

Personally I prefer 'pulse blue'.

Its extremely easy to criticise and no-one likes change (especially us pharmacists) and I know how much effort and time it takes to run a chat forum (I run one elsewhere) but...

After 10 mins of using it I went back to the user CP and changed it back to the original style.

Like admin said, give it a go and then change if you want.

I don't think the skins are bad, the pulse red makes me think of a gamers forum or something similar. Each to their own i suppose.
