Hmm it doesn't remember settings.

Oh well never mind, I can change it easily enough when I log in.

Main issues for me are that the new skin doesn't auto-resize - It just stays at 800pix wide (presumably so that the ads always appear) and the font is small.

My smartphone doesn't display it too well either.

Hey folks it's Fleeg...

You can choose how you wish to view the forum by going to the bottom of the page. On the left you'll see a drop-down menu which says '--pulse red'. This is a quick style chooser. click on it and you'll also see the options '--pulse blue' and 'original' (the old forum skin). Choose which one you prefer, and that way everyone's happy!

Personally I prefer 'pulse blue'.

Thanks Fleegle, it would probably have taken me quite a bit of faffing about to have found that. Quite liking the new look.

I like it too. Admin has put a lot of time and effort into development and expansion of the forum. The new forum links to facebook, twitter and myspace are a brilliant idea! Onward and upward as far as I'm concerned!

You got the general idea Fleegle - we need to get revenue and new members to keep going. I have paid for the costs of this site from the start and if I add it all up your toes would curl up if I told you how much it comes to! Not to mention all the hard work I, James and Keith have done too.

The other obvious idea is to attract more people to the site. We have linked to Twitter, Myspace and Facebook which is a good thing.

If however you really hate the look, just go to the bottom of the page and on the left you'll see a drop down bar. This will turn the forum to pulse blue (nice blue/green combo) or back to the old one.

I have to set the default to the new skin for ads. I hope you all understand.

This isn't for me to become a .com millionaire, it's just to help the site pay for itself.

I don't think the skins are bad, the pulse red makes me think of a gamers forum or something similar. Each to their own i suppose.

It's meant to look medical! It's a persons pulse! As in a heartbeat thingy!

Try the Pulse blue - that's a nice blue/green combo. I might make that one the default as most seem to prefer that colour scheme.

Also try scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Those lnks took ages to do, and more work still needs to be done.

Err.... The text is a bit small

I would have either Avatar or pictures in sigs but not both. Short replies are lost in the jumble.

The colours are a bit "Batchelor pad bedroom"

No problem - I'll try to get the text larger. As for the colour see the above posts on how to change that. I might reduce the signatures too to contain only small pictures.

Possibly refresh the page - it could be your browser cache so delete it.
