You have no idea what kind of dental assistant Jade was. She may have been the best in the world at her job. Don't be juped into thinking the girl lacked intelligence simply because her general knowledge was atrocious. There is a huge difference between have job knowledge and having general knowledge. I'm pretty confident that a huge number of pharmacy students of Jade's age, 19 at the time of her first appearance in Big Brother, would be just as ignorant of geographical or general knowledge.
