hi has anyone finished their course recently and still waiting for letter and certificate to arrive? if so how long have you been waiting? as i passed end of november and i have still not received mine thx sezza

Well done you for passing. Certificates and letters take ages to come through. I passed all my stuff a few years ago at the end of September and finally received everything the following February. The time delays were the external verifiers doing all their paperwork and then submitting everything. Then the folk at Edexcel took weeks to do their stuff. I couldn't get another job as I needed all my paperwork at the time and I remember being very p***** off. I must have called them dozens of times (which probably made them go slower)......My daughter had to wait six months for all her NVQ paperwork. I'm sincerely hoping you get all your stuff a hell of a lot quicker. It might be worth giving them a call to see where they are??

hi dizzyb23 i have rang the npa twice they said not got grade for unit 1 then they said yes we have then no we have not then yes we have lol it needs to be input into computer but thousands have passed so you will just have to wait your turn i think i will catch the train and go to npa and input my own it will be much quicker lol lol lol sezza

Blimey!! what a faff??? The thing is, if you were waiting for your certificates for a new job, that would make things difficult. I know it can't be an easy process for them. Hope they get a wriggle on for ya.

Also, thousands of newly qualified techs!!! Is that true??? No wonder there's no work out there for the rest of us....

Oh no!!!! Thousands!!!! Why??? The job of a tech isn't what it used to be....Or is it that tons of people have been pretending to be techs but actually now have to get the pieces of paper??

Anyway Sezza, it may be that a prospective employer would be willing to wait for your actual certificates to come through!! You never know....
