Boots Christmas Payday!!! Any ideas???

Hi folks.....happy christmas etc.....is there anyone on here that has any clue when Boots slaves are supposed to be being paid for Christmas??? I ask this as last year they left it till Christmas Eve which was a huge help to all of us. Was wondering if anyone has any idea when our few pennies are going to show up this year. I've been trying to find out from managers etc but no one has a clue.....

Poor quality managers. All managers should be aware that pay day is tomorrow, payslips have already been dispatched and opened since last week and it tells you when is pay day. The issue now whether your manager entered all the details on the system before the cut off time? I hope they did. Payroll will only speak to managers so get them to ring up and find out for you. Altho unlikely to pick up as most head office employees are working in stores this week. Came across >10 in some stores so could be easier to ask any of the ppl from headoffice helping in your store. I am assuming your store is central and attracts the 1000s of headoffice volunteers helping this week

In my day, we just got a letter from Lady Trent thanking us for our efforts. Most ceremoniously took it to the toilets.

Its interesting though,with all the Christmas Temps, and Head Office staff in, how not one of them works in Pharmacy!?

It would be worrying if any of them step into the healthcare or the dispensary without being hralthcare/dispensary trained. What's more worrying is you not knowing that! I hope no one walks through your dispensary without the authorisation of the responsible pharmacist for REGARDLESS of any reasons. Teacher practitioners, pddm, pharmacists area managers, pharmacy trainers, area pharmacy trainets and reginol managers with pharmacy background will be popping into the busy branches over the coming couple of days for few hours to help. I had my old area manager and the regional managers helping at my old store last year. Well they were having a meeting but they got stuck in their xmas eve when i decided to do a couple of murs while they were. Boy i took my time in the consultation room

It was the Pharmacists/ACTs within those teams I was referring to- apologies for not making that clear. I fully appreciate that not just anyone can walk in, but we have not had any visits from several people within the area that I can think of, which is quite surprising - they are usually hovering when we dont want/need them!

Thanks for your help and replies folks. It was today except for me.......this is my last couple of weeks and was hoping for my last wage to be correct!!!! What am I saying??? Boots payroll getting their acts together.....pah!!!! Anyway, Happy Christmas one and all and hopefully a great New Year for all of us with new jobs in fantastic places for some and anything everyone else wishes for.
