    Guidance on calculating quantities

Hi, if someone could give me a hand on this I'd be grateful, I can easily work out % based ingredients but for some reason I just can't seem to work this one out:

'calculate the quantity of each ingredient required to dispense the following example'

    Chloral Hydrate 200mg
    Blackcurrant Syrup 1ml
    Water 0.1ml
    Syrup to 5ml

    mitte 300ml

If you help that would be great, thanks

I'm sure a question similar to this has been posted on the forum before...Nevertheless, the actual method is straightforward. You've been given quantities to make up to 5ml, therefore to make up to 300ml just multiply each component by 60.

You can practice at home scaling recipes up and down from your favourite cook book.

Mince pies would be appropriate for this time of good cheer.

Or get a 2 stroke engine with a 1:50 oil to petrol mix and a 12 litre fuel tank.
