Hi

Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? I've been given a small project to do in order to help me learn about schedule 3 controlled drugs. This is what I have to cover:
Class of drugs
Action and uses of drug
Legal prescribing aspects
Legal supply aspects
Misuse or drugs where applicable
Dependence of drugs where applicable

Apart from the MEP, does anyone know of any useful websites especially to do with the actions and uses of drugs? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

'Action and uses of drug'
You do not need to know the complete pharmacology of a med:
1) Which therapeutic class does it belong to: ie hypnotic, sedative, analgesic .. all given by section of the BNF.
2) These would predicate the uses. Ie Hypnotic to aid sleep etc
