    it was the brain child of the GPhC, along with other ideas!! All the solicitors did was copy the originals, (don't bother to copy it all yourself, thay will want to do the copying) and stamp and sign they are a true copy of the originals, I had to do the same for my ID on a morgatage application so now I guess normal in the UK?!

    Thanks, yet one more thing that makes no sense at all. How does the solicitor know it's you though?? Do you not have to show a passport or something?? Not being rude but those certificates could belong to anyone......

    they are just certifying it's a true copy of the original, that's all, and most applications need a photo ID copy as well, so it's best to get it all done at the same time.

    Hi Ginny I sent all mine and don't for get to have all of them signed by a solicitor as I had to resend one of mine, It cost £5 a copy I don't know who u work for but boots took the cost of all the solicitor's & the postoffice fees £25 intotal. Just got my Reg Number this week it only took 6 months from receiving my certificate to say that i had passed. Hope it will not be that long for you good luck wanda

    ooooooh i'm reading this and just thinking arrrrh!!!! i got all this to come. i better start to find all my id then and put it ready then i better find a solicitor
