hi kayco have the npa never got in touch i have rang and the npa told me to get me boss to send a email and i will be granted extra time but i dont no how much this has made my day as ive got 3 mods and 2 units left i fell behind due to other reasons thx for that info sezza
When I rang them i was told i had to send a letter to the head of the department at the NPA just to explain why and then i would be more or less guaranted to be granted extra time, but i just never got round to it.
My problem is that i have had several positions in different pharmacys and not always a tutor so I have been doing the work pretty much by myself like most people and then i got fed up and demoralised with all the hours needed to put in as well as everything else you have to get done on your two days off!! I also got behind from module 1 so i ended up concentrating on the module books and leaving the evidence but obviously seeing hoe tedious evidence collection was I soon stopped doing any.
My actual deadline was Jan 2010!!!! But the last few months I have got cracking again and there has never been any problems getting work sent back or calling the NPA so now the end is in sight when i just get this unit 5 complete.
hi kayco my deadline for mods is 27th of july my units is 22nd of september so im gunna finish mods first then me units im not that far off just a little extension is needed ive been bothered about it but uve made me feel alot better thx so much sezza
No, not had to repeat anything, I have always had either an A or B for my module work. It will all be done and posted in less than a week now. I know so many people who have started it and just never finished - they just gave up part way through and I don't think the NPA contacted any of them.
I have just chipped away bit by bit, I enjoyed the module work but the evidence collection is just so mind numbing - i also think that perhaps i put a bit too much detail in my 1st few units and some of the reports were pages and pages long. Now i write them a lot shorter and to the point!
when i rang ive got m17 + 18 to go and working through unit 1 , i should finish it by end of july which is now eeeek they told me its ok to go over a few weeks but im never gonna do it by then , i think just keep going until im done but im worrying about registering then if that might be delayed, think i may give the npa a ring too , streeeeesssssss lol xx
